This location has incredible scenery, perfect for supplying the photographic opportunities preferred for a wonderful color workshop.  Autumn is spectacular in the Tetons, with  fall weather, the aspens and cottonwoods will be golden and the elk and moose will approaching the rut with males competing for females.  From Oxbow Bend, to other parts of the Snake River, to the "off the beaten path" lakes, as well as the prominent Jenny and Jackson Lakes, to the moose laden river on the south side of the park, to Antelope Flats, it will be an adventure from the beginning to the end.  Additionally, few places on earth are home to as many large mammals as Grand Teton (Grand Teton National Park is rated the number one national park for wildlife viewing).  Moose in evening light, bison in the first light of morning, soaring osprey and eagles, grazing pronghorn, massive numbers of elk at dusk, an occasional deer, and many others should test our merits as wildlife photographers, all the while with the majestic Tetons, draped in the golden glow of morning and evening light, as a backdrop.  Roger has been visiting the Grand Teton National Park for several years and teaching workshops there since 1995 and is intimately familiar with the best places for great light and the most likely locations to find wildlife.
