This trip will spend ten days exploring the best of Italy. We will start in Rome, move next to Umbria then to Tuscany & Florence and finally to Venice. Italy is my favorite European country and we will see it from a photographer's point of view. We will have an English speaking driver and/or guide and our own vehicle for transportation around the area. Our outfitter is aware of our photo mission and our guide will strive to get us to the best locations during the best light. We will be a small group able to travel on old narrow roads and stay together when walking. Our outfitter has custom designed this trip with our goals in mind. Follow this link for the detailed itinerary. All accommodations will be in 4 or 5 star hotel and include breakfast each day. City Taxes Cities in Italy charge a tax for visitors. These taxes will be up to € (Euros) 5 per person per day paid directly to hotels in cash during your stay. This fee is not included in trip price. Price Fluctuations This trip is billed in Euros by our outfitter. The US dollar prices listed here are based on a conversion factor of € 1 = $ 1.4. As that conversion factor changes (up or down), the price will be adjusted according. The price will be locked to the conversion factor on the day the final payment is due. Included -All accommodations for the trip listed in the itinerary. -Breakfast each day at the hotel. -Transportation and transfers as indicated in the itinerary. -Guides & Tours as listed in the itinerary. Does Not Include City taxes (where applicable) payable directly to hotel at time of check out Tips and gratuities Porterage / luggage handling Meals other than breakfast daily at hotels or as specified in inclusions list Airfare(s) Travel Insurance (highly recommended) Expenses of a personal nature Requirements for Travel to Italy US or Canadian passports must be valid for a minimum of three months beyond your intended stay in Europe. No travel visas are required for stays up to three months You must have tickets and documents for return or onward travel. Vaccination: None required
Cost $3850 for double occupancy, single supplement rate is $700 additional for single room. If you desire, we will do our best to find you a roommate, but if none is available, you will be at the single supplement rate. $1000 deposit required at time of booking and final payment due August 01, 2012. See above for currency fluctuation policy. Minimum Enrollment Due to outfitter constraints and transportation requirements, a minimum of 5 people is required for this trip to operate. Since our deposits are non refundable from the outfitter, we will not formally book the trip until we have the required minimum number. Please register early to insure space is available for the trip. If you register and we do not get to the minimum number, you will of course receive a full refund. We will also consider other options before canceling. Do not purchase flight tickets until the minimum is met. Cancellation Policy Again due to outfitter restraints, no refunds are available on deposits or final funds after the trip is booked, unless we find a replacement for the cancellation. We will work with you as best we can, but travel insurance is highly recommended for this trip.
