Rocky Mountain National Park is one of Mother Nature’s greatest wonderlands. For the nature photographer, it is truly a rare gem. The diversity of the park, its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife provide an endless bounty of creative opportunities. Surrounded by snowcapped mountains, this park encompasses over 265,200 acres of meadows, mountains, lakes and valleys. With over 155 lakes and 100 mountain peaks reaching over 10,000 feet in elevation, this park takes us into many different worlds. The tremendous diversity of terrain found within the park provides an ideal habitat for elk, mule deer, coyote, and bighorn sheep that are commonly encountered within the park. River otter, bobcat, black bear, moose and even an occasional mountain lion have also made Rocky Mountain National Park their home. The elk will be abundant, with quite possibly the best elk image making available anywhere. Much of the time in this workshop will be devoted to working with the elk, especially in the evenings when they group up in the meadows. Join us as we capture stunning images of wildlife, fall color, splendid vistas, reflecting lakes and dramatic water falls. If you haven't experienced the Rocky Mountains in the fall, this is your chance to have it all. Bill has has been visiting the Rockies for several years and is intimately familiar with its bounty.
