     Ron began working in the field with Lonnie and Roger at The Nature Workshops in the 1990s and led his first workshop with The Nature Workshops in 2003.  He has also worked in the field for the Friends of Arizona Highways group of workshops over the past several years.  Ron won the first annual photo contest with The Nature Workshops and has had his photography honored many times, including an exhibit of his underwater work at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.  Ron is an inspired instructor with several years of teaching experience.  He leads workshops that are fun and effective.  His 2006 workshop in SW Colorado will be entirely spent in the field, over the camera, with occasional afternoon image reviews.  This workshop is an opportunity to spend a few days enjoying the beauty of nature while learning to make better photographs.  You will return home with a number of exciting images and improved photographic techniques.
