This workshop will visit two of the most scenic areas in New Mexico, White Sands National Monument and Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. We will start at White Sands, a unique area of giant sand dunes that are snow white. We will explore the early morning and late evening light as the low angle sun paints patterns and graphic designs in the sand. Every location is different every day as the winds repaints nature's display. We will then travel to Bosque del Apache where thousands of birds call their winter home. Thousands of snow geese and sand hill cranes "blast off" in a deafening roar each sunrise as they leave for their daily feeding. Each evening they return to the wetlands to spend the night. Many other ducks, road runners, bald eagles, pheasants, coyotes, deer, owls, raptures, and many other species are readily available at Bosque. Join us for this workshop to two very different locations, but each unique in its own way.
